The Challenger on ZA-Z is KI5's 1970 Dodge muscle car. It comes in five versions, from the everyday R/T to a black-and-white Police car with a siren, and each one spawns in its own kind of place. Like every modded car, it only appears on ground that loaded for the first time after it went live on 24 October 2026.

#What it adds

VersionWhat sets it apart
'70 Dodge Challenger R/TThe classic, in ten paint jobs. Its roof comes off.
'70 Dodge Challenger T/ALighter, with a stronger engine, its own hood and fourteen paint jobs.
'70 Dodge Challenger PoliceBlack and white, with a lightbar and siren, a ham radio and a tougher front and rear.
'70 Dodge Challenger O/PThe Police car's engine and tough body without the lightbar, in grey, bright red or orange.
'70 Dodge Challenger Black GhostAll black, on its own wheels, with more power than the R/T.
  • Four seats, a 60-unit trunk, a 7-unit glove box and a 51-litre fuel tank on every version.
  • Body parts: stock front and rear bumpers, plus Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 bullbars front and rear, and two spoilers.
  • Armour: two types of windshield armour, rear windshield armour and door armour.
  • Roof rack: the T/A, O/P and Black Ghost have a mount for a small vintage roof rack. It never comes fitted; you make or find one and bolt it on.
  • 70 Dodge Challenger Auto Manual: teaches the three hoods, the front doors, the trunk lid, front and rear seats, all the glass and the small vintage roof rack.

#Which Challenger is the fastest?

The Police and O/P carry the biggest engine and the highest top speed of the five. The T/A comes next and is the lightest of them all. The Black Ghost has more power than the R/T but the same top speed. The Police and O/P also take more punishment up front and at the back before the body gives way.

#What does a Challenger spawn with?

Every Challenger leaves the lot on stock bumpers and its own tyres. The spoiler is a coin toss: about one time in two there is none, otherwise you get Type 1 or Type 2 at random. The Black Ghost has no spoiler mount at all. Every piece is an ordinary car part with its own install and uninstall, so you can strip a wreck and dress your own car.

#Where do I find a Challenger on ZA-Z?

VersionWhere it spawns
R/TWell-off neighbourhoods (its best spot), rough neighbourhoods, junkyards and traffic jams
T/AWell-off neighbourhoods and trailer parks (its best spots), rough neighbourhoods and parking lots
PolicePolice lots, trailer parks, junkyards and traffic jams
O/PTrailer parks (its best spot) and rough neighbourhoods
Black GhostTraffic jams only, which makes it the rarest of the five

Only fresh ground counts: towns explored before 24 October 2026 will not grow new cars.

The Auto Manual sits in bookstores, magazine racks and crates, post offices and on mechanic shelves, and turns up in a Challenger's own glove box more often than anything else in there.

#Tips

  • Open-top R/T: the R/T's Detachable Roof comes off with a wrench at Mechanics 1, once the rear windshield is out. It goes back on the same way.
  • Armour needs no manual: windshield, rear windshield and door armour all need Welding 4, and Mechanics 4 to fit.
  • Bumpers and bullbars need no manual either: Welding 5 to make, Mechanics 3 to fit.
  • Every Challenger tyre can be made without the manual at Mechanics 2.
  • A spoiler needs the trunk lid on and Mechanics 4 to fit.
  • The front doors and trunk lid are the hardest recipes on the car at Welding 7, so look after them. Hinges and handles for new ones come from that DAMN Library.
  • The trunk holds 60, a little more than the Skyline. For real hauling, find a Hilux.
