Vanilla Clothing Expansion gives the game's own clothes hundreds of new colours and prints on ZA-Z. A baseball cap is still a baseball cap, it just might come in deer camo, USA print or brown now. Anything that rolls one of the game's clothes can roll a new look.

#What it adds

New textures for dozens of the game's clothing pieces, drawn in the same hand-painted style. Among them:

KindPieces that get new looks
HatsBaseball caps (plain, reversed, KY, hunting camo, Spiffo's), bandanas, cowboy hat, winter hat, builder's respirator, full-face crash helmet
TopsHoodies, varsity jacket, long jackets, denim, lumberjack and workman shirts, Hawaiian shirts, polo, sports and tie-dye T-shirts
LegsJeans, baggy jeans, dungarees, denim and sports shorts, sports trousers
GearHiking bags, survivor bag, school bag, satchel, hydration backpack, ammo straps
OtherPonchos, hi-vis and hunting vests, hazmat suit, trainers, digital wristwatches, dish gloves, underwear

#Where do I find the new looks on ZA-Z?

Everywhere the game already puts those clothes: wardrobes, dressers, clothing stores, and on zombies. The new look is picked when an item is made, so clothes that already existed before this mod went live on 27 September 2026 keep their old colours. Fresh ground and the loot respawn (every 720 in-game hours, about 90 real hours, for looted town containers left with fewer than 5 items) bring new rolls.

#Tips

  • Colour is cosmetic: a deer-camo cap protects exactly like a red one. Pick for looks.
  • It pairs with Spongie's Open Jackets, so many of these shirts and jackets also open and roll up.
